"We've lost count of our visits and there are still things to see and do."
We try to make it as easy as possible for everyone to enjoy a holiday at Mocktree Barns, provided we can meet their specific requirements.
Mobility and Health
We have two single storey cottages (Kit and Weavers) that are particularly suitable for our less mobile guests. Both cottages have grab rails in the shower room/toilet and we have some additional equipment for use in either of these cottages.
Guests have visited Mocktree Barns with a variety of health concerns. Our policy is to provide support whenever practicable, provided we know in advance; so we ask all our guests to discuss their needs with us at the time of booking.
We welcome children of all ages and can provide a cot, baby bath, high chair, change mat, games, books and toys for our youngest visitors. The courtyard is an ideal area for supervised outdoor play visible from the cottages and we also have a grassed area away from the cottages for games. We can arrange babysitting and also provide information on suitable places to visit for tots to teens.
Pets are welcome provided they are kept under strict control and there are no more than two pets per cottage. Dogs are our main visitors and many ‘regulars’ have become old friends, but we have also welcomed cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. Dogs must be on a lead in our grounds and the surrounding farmland; other pets should be restricted to the cottage for their own safety. We can provide information on local places for excellent off-lead walks.
We charge a £10 pet fee per cottage booking.
Whatever your specific needs, the key to a successful holiday is to discuss them with us first. Just ask – we’re here to help.
